When was Jesus Christ?
state that Jesus was not born on December 25 but on June 21 and six years earlier than that. And St. Luke mentioned the angel Gabriel appeared to Zechariah church minister, father of San Juan Bautista. Also mentions that the shepherds saw the star of Bethlehem when grazed by sheep. In winter they are sheltered from the intense cold. Herod ruled until his death, the year 4 BC. The census of Julius Caesar, which obliged to go out and find Joseph and Mary inn in Bethlehem, was between 8 and 6 BC
So that is why he mentions the date of his birth in December. It probably had some moments of peace, tranquility and family meetings to help assess (a traditional half and half acceptance Church) and to tax this as the ideal date for the birth of the Son of God-made-man.

My first year with lupus
In November I celebrated my first year diagnosed with Lupus, celebrate it because we have to see the positive side of things, a whole year of new experiences and challenges , where I learned to live with a tenant who will stay with me forever. I learned that although there are days you do not feel their presence and I feel able to do anything, other than it should be noted and often when I least expect it, sometimes predictable, if I am much time in the sun the chance to feel muscle weakness and sleep is very high, I can not stop using sunscreen or photosensitivity lenses and whether it's cold or rain is likely to suffer a joint, and my hands and fingers get too cold, change colors, so many times as I can prevent wrapping up and not taking things frost other of the things that concerns me is not getting enough sleep because I know that I feel rotten the next day, with fever, which is often inevitable for the job.
FDA
Some days though I feel protected in a strong anti-nuclear attack like symptoms, and days when you slept for more than 8 hours I find it very difficult to get out of bed, as if my body had not rested or one minutes, days, although the weather is warm one finger of my hand or foot is cold and numb, days at times I can not even get up from my chair to work pain in the ankle, or I can not force pains in my elbows and wrists.
Exercising in the morning, walking, running is very good for strengthening muscles to prevent contractures and to counter the weight problem caused by prednisone intake.
learned to live one day at a time, one is adapting and taking steps for some the symptoms are the most charitable possible. Most importantly, do not forget to check regularly and taking medications, particularly I have a few little notes in the mirrors that you do remember me =).

Since my last post in which he spoke about rapid weight gain that I suffered, I wanted to delve deeper into the issue, I am taking prednisone 15mg inter-day form, go to the gym to strengthen my muscles and bones osteoporosis and see a nutritionist who taught me how to eat, all this due to prednisone, there is a syndrome caused by prolonged use of corticosteroids and high-called "Cushing Syndrome"
This syndrome is caused by increase of the hormone cortisol, a hormone produced naturally by the adrenal glands that helps the body to stress, to maintain blood pressure, cardiovascular function, immune system and makes the fat, carbohydrates and proteins into energy.
There are two types of Cushing's syndrome, the symptoms are the same, the difference is in the cause of the syndrome.
The most common type is exogenous to find patients with immune-based diseases such as lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromaialgia, scleroderma, etc., whose treatment includes the use of corticosteroids such as prednisone, for the purpose of stopping the immune system. This type of syndrome is temporary and will disappear once the patient stops taking the drugs. The other type is endogenous Cushing's syndrome caused by a problem in the adrenal glands or the pituitary. In the adrenal glands is caused by a tumor (usually non-cancerous) tumor that produces excess cortisol. In the pituitary, the problem is caused by a tumor that produces too much ACTH (a hormone that stimulates the adrenal glands to produce cortisol), there are times displayed other pituitary tumors that produce excess ACTH also causing the syndrome.
Symptoms include: • rounded face (moon face) and red. • Acne or infection
to the skin. • Hair loss.
• Accumulation of fat between the shoulders (buffalo hump).
• Accumulation of grease on the clavicles.
• high blood sugar.
• High blood pressure.
• Loss of muscle mass. • Mass loss, pain and tenderness of the bones.
• Back pain that occurs with routine activities.
• Thin skin with the bruising, slow to heal after injury.
• purple streaks.
• Depression.
• Excessive facial hair in women.
• Irregular or absent menses and infertility.
• Loss of sex drive.
• In children, growth deficiency and obesity.
Treatment for Cushing's syndrome depends on the cause, symptoms in the exogenous nature disappears when the patient stops taking corticosteroid drugs in endogenous change will require surgery, radiation and drugs to reduce the production of cortisol .

See the Light of Life
I Have Lupus, But my spirits run high,
I Promised Myself, That I Would Die.
Some mornings I wake up, with joints That do ache,
and a body so tired, and drained like a lake.
I'll say to myself, I'll have a nice day,
I will fight the Lupus, all of the way.
I see the light of Life.
An arm spasm hits, like a lightning bolt,
I soothe my arm, trying to calm the jolt.
As the disease progresses, into another stage,
my heart beats faster, with inner rage.
It can destroy your body in part,
it takes its toll, right to your heart.
I see the light of Life.
Lupus drains your soul, like an evil sin,
striking your kidneys and sun sensitive skin.
Mouth ulcers and joint pain, are a common sign,
that a Lupus flare will be in due time.
I see the light of Life.
My face becomes swollen, from the Prednisone,
but some days I know, I am not alone.
We Lupus patients take our life by each day,
in prayers and hopes, for a cure, we do pray.
What we go through each day of the year,
waiting and wondering, what's next for a cure.
I see the light of Life.
Sometimes my face is concerned, and has a blank stare,
I'm wondering when I'll have the next flare.
My doctor is my only friend,
he seems to know, and he does understand.
Once in awhile to the hospital I go,
a short stay with kind nurses, and doctors in tow.
My eyes become misty, with tears,
my doctor understands, my questions and fears.
I see the light of Life.
I have confidence that I'm in good hands,
in fact, my doctor to me, is the most skilled in the land.
I know in my heart, that I am a fighter,
and each day to me, will be much brighter.
Every day represents a challenge to me,
moving forward, with an incurable disease.
I see the light of Life.
God put me here for a reason I know,
I'll spread my love, and fulfill my goals.
To people and places, that are in need,
friend or foe, I'll complete my deed.
When I am called, and it is my time,
I will have accomplished my life line.
I see the light of Life

Sol Evil
The sun provides many benefits, including the production of vitamin D (which prevents osteoporosis), favors blood circulation, stimulates the synthesis of brain neurotransmitters and immune system. But it also comes with UV rays that cause much damage to the skin, becoming visible freckles, moles, blemishes, dryness, blistering, aging face and neck, or more serious problems such as lupus triggered by sun exposure or melanoma (skin cancer).
do not need to experience being in the sun exposure to UV rays even on cloudy days or through the reflection of sun on the beach under an umbrella, or fluorescent light may be produced.
UV rays are divided, according to its wavelength: UV
• A - 320 to 400 um. Between 30 and 50% of these rays reach deeper levels of the dermis and produce radiation that tans the skin, with some side effects.
• UV B - 290 to 320 um. They have a lot of energy, they penetrate the epidermal level and cause tanning with enough side effects, can alter the cellular DNA and cause cancer, melanogenic action as they develop and inflamed skin.
• UV C - less than 290 um. Rays are the most energy. Are very hazardous to humans and most do not reach the Earth's surface because the ozone layer absorbs from the atmosphere.
was once thought that only type B radiation was harmful, but is now known that the combined effect of UV-A and B affects the skin, UVA rays reach the earth's surface 1,000 times more than UVB and penetrate deep into the skin, altering the tissue and induces collagen photosensitivity reactions and dehydration that dries the skin and elasticity remain and cause injuries characterizing the photo aging and skin cancer.
Not all patients with lupus are sensitive to the sun. Only 30% are affected by it, and there are also a large variety of degrees: Some people may be in the sun for 20 minutes without problems, but they develop fatigue, fever and rash if they are for 45 minutes. This can vary from one person to another. even from one race to another. Recommendations
1. Hours
We must be careful between at 10 am and 4 pm, times where UV rays affect angles and do much damage to the skin, after the 4 pm, UV rays are oblique and start being more easily absorbed by the atmosphere.
2.
La Ropa We choose what cover our skin, taking into account the thickness. The solar protection capacity is expressed as a UV Protection Factor (UPF)
exists in the market UPF clothing as is the case of " Coolibar ( http://www.coolibar.com/ ) and products that raise the level of sun protection clothing, as in the case of " Sun Guard." ( https: / / sunguardsunprotection.com /)
3. Hats
The facial skin is very sensitive to photo-aging, especially the cheeks, nose and chin, a classic baseball cap is not sufficient, wear wide-brimmed hats that protect much of the face.
For example:
"Coolibar (http:// www.coolibar.com/ )
4. Eyewear
should use sunglasses to protect U. VA and VB U. absorb these rays to prevent damage, excess solar radiation is responsible for the irritation of our eyes can cause conjunctivitis and inflammation of the cornea ( keratitis).
5. Places open
Beware at beaches, pools, sand, snow and their surfaces act as amplifiers of the sun's rays. (In water up to 80% and 50% sand)
in high places take into account that the distance from the sun to the earth is lower, so the risk increases.
6. Solariums -
Sun Beds Sunbeds emit radiation UV to achieve their objective in a short time, is generally not recommended for use because it can cause skin cancer and even less if you suffer from Lupus or any condition sensitive.
7. transport vehicle
Within the same risk you run out of it, unless you count the moons that absorb UV transmission, these between darker and metallic provide greater protection.
8. sun-protective cream
Sunscreen is used to increase skin tolerance to sunlight, they should be applied half an hour before sun exposure to achieve good absorption, and reapply every couple of hours as the protection factor and having the day is cloudy.
on the market are various brands of sunscreens with various sun protection factors (SPF), the factor indicates how long you can stay in the sun without your skin becomes red, this is how an SPF 15 sunscreen allows you to be in the sun 15 times without use, with SPF 30 will be 30 times more and so on.
A final recommendation is to seek assurance products.

No Country for depression
Saturday marks one month of the death of my mother, a very difficult month for my family and me, but thanks to the support of all those people that made me get from one form to another I come beating her love, she will always walk beside me and chat with her, how sad will never see or feel his hugs and kisses.
depressed I know is not good for the immune system, in the case of Lupus it worse, the depression caused by the use of corticosteroids (prednisone) for emotional exhaustion, stress and sacrifice made continuous adjustments in life and if most of this loss of a loved one can become a mess.
The relationship between depression and immunity is linked to behavior, not sleeping, not exercising, eating, anxiety or quitting, smoking, drinking more often contributes to an imbalance in the whole organism. Vengo
be positive or rather try, try to find moments of joy and I have found, much depends on the attitude and the people around us, the good cheer is contagious, so it remains to accept any support, be brave and keep fighting.
But you know if you have depression?
yes or no answers to these questions, should respond positively to more than 7 of these questions, have a 86% chance of being with depression according to World Health Organization. (Take the basis of the last 30 days)

Achoo!
The first and faster than I thought was to seek to isolate those fallen in battle ... (I think I would have no one for me = /)
The latest measure was to prevent the virus from spreading, so buy bottles of anti-bacterial gel with alcohol and tissue to distribute to my colleagues.
Another measure to take that step through my mind was to get a flu shot, to date I have never received even one of these vaccines, so the idea that you tell my dad (a great advantage have a doctor in the house) and I said "NO" because he was taking medications that suppress the immune system and steroids and the nature of the vaccine can cause more complications me that a future benefit, this led me back to Google to satisfy my curiosity in the world of vaccines:
Vaccines are classified as:
live or attenuated vaccines (virus that takes away a bit of virulence).
killed or inactivated vaccines.
shots of dead or inactive type do not cause any problems for immunocompromised individuals, whereas vaccines type of live or attenuated if, you should be careful with these people and even more if you are with immunosuppressive medication and steroids so you need to be evaluated by your doctor.
vaccines to counter the effects are transient flu, influenza is caused by a virus that has the facility to mutate, the body develops antibodies to be attacked rejecting the visit of this virus, but by mutating the immune system no longer can recognize is so new vaccines always come to protect us.

With the change of seasons, and this autumn temperatures as changing fashion get respiratory diseases like colds and bronchitis.
Working in an office with 12 people and 2 where classmates get to listen to their melodious Achi, which for them is about grace, for me are moments of terror (the lupus makes you more susceptible to infection) for which I take certain measures :
The second was to isolate myself in my house and work remotely ... (For the type of work I do, I must be in constant connection to the network and database work and security policies is not given this kinds of connections.)
The latest measure was to prevent the virus from spreading, so buy bottles of anti-bacterial gel with alcohol and tissue to distribute to my colleagues.

A vaccine is a preparation of antigens that once inside the body causes the immune system recognizes as foreign, destroys them and in many cases remember the time a damaging version of the infection reaches the attack the immune system is prepared to respond.

In search of a rheumatologist with a good heart I love you Mommy
"The Rheumatology is a medical specialty dedicated to the clinical conditions (no surgery) of the musculoskeletal system and connective tissue, which comprises a large number of clinical entities known collectively as rheumatic diseases which account for a large group of associated systemic diseases: the connective.
rheumatologist (specialist in Rheumatology) primarily treat patients with localized involvement clinical entities that usually damage the joints, bones, muscles, tendons and fascia, etc., And even systemic diseases with expression. " (wikikpedia)
The former American Rheumatism Association in 1983 developed a classification that groups the rheumatic diseases in ten different categories, placing the Lupus in diffuse diseases of connective tissue (connective) where we can find rheumatoid arthritis and Felty syndrome, juvenile chronic arthritis - Still's disease adult, scleroderma, diffuse fasciitis with or without eosinophilia, polymyositis, necrotizing vasculitis and vascular variants.
Since the most common symptoms of Lupus is pain, it is important that you see a rheumatologist who can establish a correct diagnosis by ruling out among various diseases and laboratory studies proper treatment can begin. It is very important to search for a good one with whom you feel comfortable because this will be with much of life is a disease with no cure so I'll have to visit often.

Calculator To Show When I Got Pregnant
write these lines from the sixth floor of the hospital of my birth, place of work of my parents, which went through its halls many times by way of mischief, I know this hospital as my home, but today I returned for another reason .
I got up much earlier than usual, much earlier than I get up to go to work, wanted to surprise my mom with balloons, gifts, flowers and especially from me, my mom is my hero and an example of strength She is a cancer fighter, the same month that I was diagnosed with lupus to cancer she was diagnosed with abdominal wall, a very rare variety as it is subjected to aggressive chemotherapy and spend some time in the hospital, by the nature of my disease is not recommended to go to clinics and hospitals and that took immunosuppressive treatment, and so I would go with a mask, my mom is upset thinking that I can attach a infection and prefer not to go, so I have many opportunities to see her, but today was the exception.
We arrived and waited with a pretty face, happy and even more so when I get a call from my brother asking if she liked roses and send him little note that accompanied them, she was moved almost to tears, my brother asked after I had given him and said ... you know what exaggerated that is your sister ... (That's me: D).
At 5 begins the arrival of visitors so this celebration is very special and emotional, I love, adore and admire my mom. Happy Day!
